‘Miyaru’ 見やる, linocut mini print

‘Miyaru,’ ‘見やる’ or the ‘Gaze’ is a reimagined work in gestural brushstrokes. The image explores the female as a solitary figure looking out from beneath the red blood moon. Who is gazing at who? Using traditional printmaking technique, the design was carved into lino and hand pressed onto beautiful natural fibre lokta paper. Each piece of paper has its' own distinct grain and character. This  charming linocut mini print ideal for elevating small spaces.

 

‘Miyaru’ is featuring in the South Bank Printmakers’ Gallery, mini print exhibition 2025.
