‘Echoes’ Linoprint reflects the exploration of internal turmoil and experience of lost. Like the stages of grief, she is both present and ebbing. Her form is intertwined and swirling in the echoes of her mind. I use unpredictable repetition to mirror the path of dissociation where clarity of mind often becomes blurred. The starkness of black and white is purposeful, reflecting journeys ending too often in emotional cul de sac. Printed on Japanese ho-sho paper ‘Echoes’ presents life on the edge of fragility and weightlessness.
