Exchange, Returns & Refunds

  • Change your mind? We understand purchasing art is very personal choice, if you are unhappy or changed your mind, we have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your order to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. The buyer will bear the cost of return postage.
     

  • Damaged or Lost:  In the rare event of damage or lost, please contact us within 14 days of receipt of your purchase. Please email mellowmuseprints@gmail.com with photos of damage. We will be happy to either track down your order or arrange a replacement, whichever is applicable.

  • Exchanges: If you have changed your mind, please email mellowmuseprints@gmail.com first to let us know if you wish to exchange your artwork for something else. We'll be happy to assist. If you plan to exchange please return the artwork as soon as possible, and once the return is accepted, we'll refund you so you can  make a separate purchase for the new item. The buyer bears the cost for the return postage.

  • Exceptions / non-returnable items: Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalised items). Please email mellowmuseprints@gmail.com with any questions. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.

  • To start a return, please email mellowmuseprints@gmail.com, we will be happy to accommodate your request or arrange for exchange. Unfortunately, any artwork sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

  • If you change your mind and would like to cancel your order before it has been shipped, please email mellowmuseprints@gmail.com as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but it cannot be guaranteed.

  • We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process.

Choosing Handmade Artwork 

  • The charm of the printmaking process is that no two prints are ever the same. Each will have its unique characteristics depending on the pressure of the press, the intensity of ink and marks on the paper, even within limited edition print runs. Please bear this mind when comparing your print to the pictured artwork on this website.

 

  • Every care is taken when photographing and preparing the image reproductions for display on this website, however, in some instances the colour you see on screen may not be an exact representation of the actual artwork. Please bear this in mind upon receiving your order.

 

  • Aftercare: Please display print away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. Avoid humid conditions that can lead to condensation and eventual yellowing. The print can be displayed as standalone, although framing is recommended to preserve the longevity of the ink and paper. If you plan to store, place between sheets of acid free paper to prevent yellowing and adhesion to other surfaces.

  • Payment will be collected the moment that you place your order. If you wish to pay via PayPal, you do not need to have a PayPal account, as you can use your credit or debit card at the checkout for a one-off payment.

Package, Shipping & Postage

  • Sending as a gift for friends and family? We can add a special message. Please add or email your request and message details at time of purchase. We will do our best to incorporate.

  • Original artwork will be carefully packed in protective cellophane and hardboard outer for transit.

  • Please allow orders to be shipped within 5 – 10 days upon payment.

  • Once dispatched, the transit time will vary and depend upon each destination and local COVID restrictions.

  • Different delivery times may apply to sale items, commissioned works, ‘pre-order’ items and those purchased during holiday seasons.

  • All orders are insured and tracked.​

  • For domestic UK and Northern Ireland all orders will be posted via tracked Royal Mail delivery.

  • For Europe and International, outside UK, all orders will be posted via tracked and insured Royal Mail delivery. Please note, international buyers (outside UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. These additional charges will be the buyer’s responsibility.

  • In some instances, the addressee may be required to sign for the package.​

  • Deliveries to Europe and United States typically arrive within 6 – 10 working days, subject to COVID restrictions and local postal & customs.

  • Deliveries to UK and Northern Ireland typically arrive within 3 – 4 working days.
