Spirited II, captures the human spirit in the face of life’s adversities. Symbolism embedded in subject’s cloak speaks of strength and struggle. The design form was inspired by traditional Chinese folk art of paper cutting as well as patterns from nature’s forms found on the forest floor. Using traditional printmaking technique,, the design was carved into lino and printed on an etching press.
