Julie Mok’s work explores her cultural identity, the female form, and darker hues of the human condition. By combining figurative and natural forms found in nature, Julie depicts her internalised conflicts and reflections through her subjects.
Julie studied fine art and mixed media at the University of Westminster. She works in linocut, monoprint, dry point, occasionally combines with mixed media.
Julie is a trained Arts Award adviser, with enhanced DBS, certificate in early years and teaching experience with young children. Arts Award inspires young people to grow their arts and leadership talents: it's creative, valuable and accessible. Julie shares her passion for print by running workshops for young printmakers.
